Bead Boo!, a two-sided Halloween ornament kit by Abris Art — a witch flying on her broomstick across a moonlit sky on one side; on the reverse, a pair of friendly little ghosts. Worked with over 485 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 8 colours and finished with a ribbon for hanging.

A little stitcher's folklore: a broom by the door was an old charm to sweep bad luck out of the house, and a witch flying past the full moon on Halloween night was said to bring good luck to anyone who spotted her. Stitchers say this little witch sweeps in a year of good fortune.

Why this kit: if you love cute Halloween decor, this ornament is playful and quick to make. Great for beginners and a fun project to do with older kids.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with both sides of the design, a second canvas for finishing, over 485 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 8 colours, a Japanese beading needle, beading thread, sealant, decorative ribbon, and instructions with a symbol key.

Bead both sides following the symbol key, then join them with the finishing canvas and sealant and add the ribbon hanger.

Finished size: about 6.6 cm (2.6 in) across. A two-sided keepsake decoration for Halloween.
