Bead Easter Tenderness, a two-sided beaded Easter egg ornament kit by Abris Art — white pussy-willow branches on a soft pale-blue egg on one side, and a gentle folk pattern on the reverse, finished with a ribbon for hanging. Worked with over 544 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 2 colours.

A little stitcher's folklore: in Ukraine and across Eastern Europe, pussy willow is blessed on Palm Sunday and gently tapped on family members for health — "not I strike, the willow strikes, Easter is a week away." Stitchers say a willow egg brings health and a happy spring.

Why this kit: if you love soft, minimalist Easter decor, this egg is delicate and very quick — only 2 bead colours. Perfect for beginners and a sweet Easter gift.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with both sides of the design, a second canvas for finishing, over 544 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 2 colours, a Japanese beading needle, beading thread, decorative filler, decorative ribbon, and instructions with a symbol key.

Bead both sides following the symbol key, then join them with the finishing canvas, fill lightly and add the ribbon hanger.

Finished size: about 7.5×5 cm (2.95×1.97 in). A keepsake Easter ornament.
