Bead Easter Company, a two-sided beaded Easter egg ornament kit by Abris Art — a woolly cream lamb on one side and a fluffy yellow chick on the other, each wearing a little flower wreath, on a light-blue egg finished with a ribbon for hanging. Worked with over 539 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 10 colours.

A little stitcher's folklore: the lamb is the gentle symbol of Easter and new life, and a chick hatching in spring was a sign of a good, fruitful year. Stitchers say this Easter company brings peace and new beginnings to the home.

Why this kit: if you love soft pastel Easter decor, this lamb and chick egg is sweet and quick to make. Great for beginners and a lovely Easter basket gift for children.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with both sides of the design, a second canvas for finishing, over 539 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 10 colours, a Japanese beading needle, beading thread, decorative filler, decorative ribbon, and instructions with a symbol key.

Bead both sides following the symbol key, then join them with the finishing canvas, fill lightly and add the ribbon hanger.

Finished size: about 7.5×5 cm (2.95×1.97 in). A keepsake Easter ornament.
