Bead Holy Night, a two-sided Christmas ornament kit by Abris Art — the Holy Family, Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus, on a deep navy disc on one side; on the reverse, the golden starburst of the Christmas star. Worked with over 487 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 11 colours and finished with a ribbon for hanging.
A little stitcher's folklore: in Ukrainian tradition, Christmas Eve dinner begins when the first star appears in the sky, in memory of the Star of Bethlehem. Stitchers say a nativity ornament keeps peace and blessings in the home all year.
Why this kit: if you want a meaningful, faith-centred ornament, this nativity is beautiful and quick to make. Great for beginners and a treasured gift for family and godchildren.
Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with both sides of the design, a second canvas for finishing, over 487 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 11 colours, a Japanese beading needle, beading thread, sealant, decorative ribbon, and instructions with a symbol key.
Bead both sides following the symbol key, then join them with the finishing canvas and sealant and add the ribbon hanger.
Finished size: about 6.6 cm (2.6 in) across. A two-sided keepsake ornament for your tree.
