Stitch Cat House, a whimsical counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a cosy wooden treehouse sits in a tree whose leaves flow through every colour of the rainbow, from red and orange to green, blue and violet. A black cat swings from a branch, and little birdcages and lanterns hang all around. Worked on white 14-count cotton Aida in 47 colours of embroidery floss.
A little stitcher's folklore: stitch a house, the old saying goes, and you'll have a home of your own — and a tree has always meant a strong, growing family. Add a black cat, a lucky charm in Britain, and stitchers say you've covered home, family and luck in one picture.
Why this kit: if you love colour, this rainbow tree is endlessly satisfying — each section is a new shade to enjoy. It's a generous project for confident beginners and experienced stitchers, and a wonderful piece for a child's room. A joyful gift for cat lovers and dreamers.
Kit includes: white 14-count cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 47 colours of cotton floss on an organizer card, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.
Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the treehouse and trunk, then the rainbow leaves, cat and hanging details.
Finished size: 33×33 cm (12.99×12.99 in). Cheerful wall art for a kids' room or living room.
