Cute Kitten Portrait Counted Cross-Stitch Kit by Abris Art AH-062

Stitch Cute Kitten, a counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a close-up portrait of a tabby-and-white kitten with fine white whiskers and striking odd eyes, one blue and one green, peeking out of a black background. Worked on black 14-count cotton Aida in 24 colours of embroidery floss, the fur and whiskers really pop.

A little stitcher's folklore: odd-eyed cats have long been considered especially lucky — in Turkey and Japan they're said to bring good fortune and wealth to the home. Stitchers say a kitten watching over a room keeps it cosy and happy, and this one sees twice as much.

Why this kit: if you love realistic animal portraits, stitching on black fabric gives dramatic, lifelike results — you'll be amazed as those eyes come to life. It's a rewarding project for stitchers with a little experience. A treasured gift for cat lovers.

Kit includes: black 14-count cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 24 colours of cotton floss on an organizer card, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the eyes and face first, then the fur and whiskers.

Finished size: 30×35 cm (11.81×13.78 in). Striking pet wall art and a thoughtful gift for cat lovers.
