Stitch Golden Dragonfly, a counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — an elegant dragonfly with shimmering teal wings rests at the centre of an ornamental golden design, with chandelier-style blackwork drapes and little pendant drops, all glowing on black fabric. Worked on 14-count cotton canvas.

A little stitcher's folklore: in Japan the dragonfly is a symbol of courage and victory, and in many traditions it's a messenger of change and light. Stitchers say a golden dragonfly brings a brighter, lighter season into your life.

Why this kit: if you love elegant, jewellery-like designs, this golden dragonfly is refined and striking against the black. A satisfying project for stitchers with a little experience, and a sophisticated gift.

Kit includes: 14-count cotton canvas, a cross stitch needle, cotton floss on an organizer card, a symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross with the matching floss colour. Stitch the dragonfly first, then the golden ornaments and drapes. Good light helps when stitching on black.

Finished size: 24×16 cm (9.45×6.3 in). Elegant wall art and a sophisticated gift.
