A Month for Lovers Moon in a Jar Counted Cross-Stitch Kit by Abris Art AH-095

Stitch A Month for Lovers, a romantic counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a glass jar with a cork stopper holds a whole starry night inside: a glowing crescent moon, a tiny couple standing hand in hand among pine trees, and a little red balloon, all set in a deep blue galaxy. Worked on white 14-count cotton Aida in 33 colours of embroidery floss.

A little stitcher's folklore: a honeymoon is named for the "honey month" after a wedding, and couples have always made their promises by moonlight. Needleworkers say stitch a couple and love stays — and a moon kept safe in a jar is a love that's never allowed to fade.

Why this kit: if you want a romantic gift with real meaning, this is it — dreamy, symbolic and beautiful framed. It's a comfortable project for confident beginners and experienced stitchers. Perfect for an anniversary, engagement or Valentine's Day.

Kit includes: white 14-count cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 33 colours of cotton floss on an organizer card, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the moon, couple and trees inside the jar, then the starry sky around it.

Finished size: 22×28 cm (8.66×11.02 in). Romantic bedroom decor and a heartfelt gift for couples.
