Gentle Light Rose Lantern Counted Cross-Stitch Kit by Abris Art AH-105

Stitch Gentle Light, a counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — an elegant vintage lantern filled with soft pink roses, lilac blooms and trailing greenery instead of a flame, on a warm linen-toned background. Worked on 14-count cotton Aida in 34 colours of embroidery floss.

A little stitcher's folklore: a lamp in the window was always a welcome for loved ones coming home, and roses are the flower of love. Put them together, needleworkers say, and you have a light that keeps love glowing in the house — a lovely thing to stitch for a new home or a new marriage.

Why this kit: if you love romantic, vintage-style florals, this lantern is pure charm. It's a compact project with lovely soft shading, great for confident beginners. A thoughtful gift for a bride, a new homeowner or a rose lover.

Kit includes: 14-count cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 34 colours of cotton floss on an organizer card, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the roses and flowers, then the lantern frame around them.

Finished size: 15×19 cm (5.91×7.48 in). Romantic decor for a bedroom or hallway, and a thoughtful gift.
