Lighthouse Light Seaside Counted Cross-Stitch Kit by Abris Art AH-109

Stitch Lighthouse Light, a coastal counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a red-and-white lighthouse stands on the rocks beside a little seaside village of red-roofed houses, with gulls wheeling overhead. Worked on white 14-count cotton Aida in 26 colours of embroidery floss, in a light, sketch-like style that leaves plenty of open sky and sea.

A little stitcher's folklore: sailors trusted the lighthouse to bring them safely home, and gulls flying inland were read as a sign of a storm coming. Needleworkers say a lighthouse on the wall guides everyone you love back to your door — perfect for a family with someone far away.

Why this kit: if you love the sea, this airy panoramic design is calm, clean and quick to stitch thanks to the open background. It's great for beginners and relaxing for experienced stitchers. A thoughtful gift for sailors, coastal families and anyone who misses the sea.

Kit includes: white 14-count cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 26 colours of cotton floss on an organizer card, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the lighthouse and houses, then the rocks, gulls and outlines.

Finished size: 39×20 cm (15.35×7.87 in). Coastal wall art for a hallway or bathroom.
