Friend Golden Retriever Counted Cross-Stitch Kit by Abris Art AH-113

Stitch Friend, a counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a happy golden retriever looks straight at you with warm brown eyes and a big pink tongue, its golden coat melting into soft watercolour splashes of orange and blue. Worked on white 14-count cotton Aida in 40 colours of embroidery floss.

A little stitcher's folklore: a dog in the house has always been a sign of a happy, well-guarded home, and old country lore says a dog that smiles at you brings good luck. Stitchers say a faithful friend on the wall watches over the family — and never needs walking in the rain.

Why this kit: if you love dogs, this portrait captures everything wonderful about them — loyalty, joy and that goofy grin. It's a generous, absorbing project for confident beginners and experienced stitchers. A treasured gift for retriever owners, or a lovely memorial to a beloved pet.

Kit includes: white 14-count cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 40 colours of cotton floss on an organizer card, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the eyes and face first, then the golden coat and the colour splashes.

Finished size: 30×38 cm (11.81×14.96 in). Heartwarming pet wall art and a thoughtful gift for dog lovers.
