Spring Motive Cottage Counted Cross-Stitch Kit by Abris Art AH-164

Stitch Spring Motive, a landscape counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a white country cottage with a red roof, surrounded by bushes of pink blossom and a winding path through fresh green fields. Worked on 14-count cotton Aida in 36 colours of embroidery floss for rich, painterly shading. (The maple-leaf wooden frame shown in the photos is not included.)

A little stitcher's folklore: there's a well-loved needlework omen — stitch a house, and you'll have a home of your own. Blossom around the door was always a sign of a happy, fruitful year. Stitchers say this cottage is for anyone dreaming of a place to call theirs.

Why this kit: if you're house-hunting, just moved, or simply love a country cottage, this is the one to stitch. It's a rewarding mid-sized landscape with lots of colour to enjoy, suited to confident beginners and experienced stitchers. A perfect housewarming gift.

Kit includes: 100% cotton 14-count Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 36 colours of embroidery floss on an organizer, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the cottage and sky, then the blossoms and the path.

Finished size: 20×16 cm (7.87×6.3 in). Cheerful country decor and a thoughtful housewarming gift.
