Flower Grace Floral Portrait Counted Cross-Stitch Kit by Abris Art AH-172

Stitch Flower Grace, a counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a serene woman's profile, eyes closed, with a cloud of pink roses and peonies blooming in place of her hair. Worked on white 14-count cotton Aida in 22 colours of embroidery floss, it's delicate, feminine and quietly beautiful.

A little stitcher's folklore: in the language of flowers, roses speak of love and peonies of honour, prosperity and a happy life. Needleworkers say flowers stitched around a face bring beauty and good thoughts to whoever looks at it — a lovely thing to hang in a bedroom or dressing room.

Why this kit: if you love elegant, modern portraits, this design is a pleasure to stitch — soft shading and lots of blossom, on a compact size you can finish in a few weeks. A beautiful gift for a mother, sister or best friend.

Kit includes: 14-count cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 22 colours of cotton floss on an organizer card, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the flowers shade by shade, then the soft lines of the face.

Finished size: 15×18 cm (5.91×7.09 in). Elegant bedroom decor and a thoughtful gift for flower lovers.
