A Star Is Falling Rainbow Cat Counted Cross-Stitch Kit by Abris Art AH-181

Stitch A Star Is Falling, a counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a big, fluffy cat whose fur swirls with every colour of the rainbow gazes up at a golden shooting star across a deep blue night sky. Worked on 100% cotton Aida in 39 colours of embroidery floss, its fur looks soft enough to stroke.

A little stitcher's folklore: everyone knows to make a wish on a falling star — and sailors believed a cat on board brought fair weather and safe passage home. Stitchers say a cat watching a shooting star is making a wish on your behalf. Hang it where you'll see it every night.

Why this kit: if you love cats and colour, this rainbow puss is pure joy to stitch — every section of fur is a new mix of shades. It's a satisfying, generously sized project for confident beginners and experienced stitchers. A fun, happy gift for cat lovers.

Kit includes: 100% cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 39 colours of embroidery floss on an organizer, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the cat's rainbow fur section by section, then the night sky and star.

Finished size: 23×35 cm (9.06×13.78 in). Playful wall art for a bedroom or kids' room, and a gift every cat lover will adore.
