Tea Party by the Window Autumn Counted Cross-Stitch Kit by Abris Art AH-199

Stitch Tea Party by the Window, a counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — wooden shutters open onto a view of red and golden autumn trees by a lake, while on the sill a teacup, cushions, a vase of lavender and shelves of books make the cosiest reading nook. Worked on 100% cotton Aida in 37 colours of floss, plus metallic thread.

A little stitcher's folklore: an open window was once believed to let good luck and good news fly in, and a cup of tea shared by the window is the heart of a happy home. Stitchers say this nook keeps the house calm and the kettle always on.

Why this kit: if you love cosy, bookish autumn scenes, this is pure comfort to stitch. It's an absorbing project for confident beginners and experienced stitchers. A perfect gift for readers and tea lovers.

Kit includes: 100% cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 37 colours of embroidery floss on an organizer, decorative metallic thread, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the autumn view first, then the window frame and cosy sill.

Finished size: 23×23 cm (9.06×9.06 in). Cosy wall art and a lovely gift for book lovers.
