Stitch In Search of a Holiday, an Easter counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a soft, fluffy brown bunny with lilac ribbon bows sits beside a wicker basket of pastel Easter eggs, surrounded by spring flowers. Worked on 100% cotton Aida in 32 colours of floss, with glass beads.

A little stitcher's folklore: in old European spring custom the Easter hare brought the eggs and good luck for the year, and eggs themselves have always stood for new life. Stitchers say a bunny with a full basket brings a spring of plenty to the home.

Why this kit: if you love realistic, gentle animal designs, this bunny's fur is a joy to stitch. It's a comfortable project for confident beginners and a lovely one to finish in time for Easter. A sweet gift for a child or a spring birthday.

Kit includes: 100% cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 32 colours of embroidery floss on an organizer, glass beads and a beading needle, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the bunny first, then the basket, eggs and flowers.

Finished size: 19×19 cm (7.48×7.48 in). Charming Easter and spring decor.
