Stitch Once Upon a Time, a counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — an open storybook blooms with pink and peach flowers and greenery, rising into a Gothic arched window that reveals a fairy tale castle in the distance. Worked on 100% cotton Aida in 37 colours of floss.

A little stitcher's folklore: every fairy tale begins "once upon a time" and ends "happily ever after" — and needleworkers say whatever you stitch, you invite. Stitchers say an open book with a castle inside is a wish for a life full of stories worth telling.

Why this kit: if you love books and fairy tales, this design is pure magic — a perfect piece for a reading nook or library. It's an absorbing project for confident beginners and experienced stitchers. A wonderful gift for book lovers.

Kit includes: 100% cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 37 colours of embroidery floss on an organizer, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the book and flowers, then the window and castle.

Finished size: 30×35 cm (11.81×13.78 in). Enchanting wall art and a gift for book lovers.
