Stitch Forest Guard, a counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a proud stag stands silhouetted on a forest path that glows orange with the last light of sunset, framed by tall, dark trees. Worked on 100% cotton Aida in 27 colours of floss, plus metallic thread for the glow.

A little stitcher's folklore: in Celtic lore the stag is the guardian of the forest and a sign of strength and renewal — seeing one at dusk was said to mean you were on the right path. Stitchers say this guardian keeps watch over your home.

Why this kit: if you love moody, atmospheric nature scenes, this glowing forest is dramatic and beautiful. It's a satisfying project for confident beginners and experienced stitchers. A great gift for hunters, hikers and nature lovers.

Kit includes: 100% cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 27 colours of embroidery floss on an organizer, decorative metallic thread, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the glowing path and stag, then the dark trees.

Finished size: 24×42 cm (9.45×16.54 in). Atmospheric wall art for a study or cabin.
