Stitch Shining Lotus, a counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a lotus flower opens in layers of peach, pink, lilac and deep indigo petals, with watercolour drips and sparkling bead accents. Worked on 100% cotton Aida in 20 colours of floss, with glass beads.

A little stitcher's folklore: the lotus rises clean and beautiful from muddy water, so in many Eastern traditions it stands for purity, rebirth and inner peace. Stitchers say a lotus on the wall brings calm and a fresh start to any room.

Why this kit: if you love serene, meditative designs, this lotus is calming to stitch and beautiful to display. It's a comfortable project for confident beginners. A lovely gift for yoga lovers and anyone needing a moment of peace.

Kit includes: 100% cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 20 colours of embroidery floss on an organizer, glass beads and a beading needle, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the petals layer by layer, then add the beads.

Finished size: 24×24 cm (9.45×9.45 in). Serene wall art and a thoughtful gift.
