Stitch On the Waves of Adventure, a counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a wooden sailboat with teal sails rides the blue waves before a pastel city skyline and glowing sunset clouds, all framed in a graceful teardrop shape on grey canvas. Worked on Aida in 28 colours of floss.

A little stitcher's folklore: sailors wished each other "fair winds and following seas," and a ship sailing toward you in a picture was said to bring good fortune home. Stitchers say this little sailboat carries new adventures your way.

Why this kit: if you love the sea and travel, this design is light, airy and full of soft sunset colour. A satisfying project for confident beginners, and a great gift for sailors, travellers or someone starting a new journey.

Kit includes: 100% cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 28 colours of embroidery floss on an organizer, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the boat and waves first, then the skyline and clouds.

Finished size: 27×20 cm (10.63×7.87 in). Nautical wall art and a thoughtful gift.
