Stitch Natural Grace, a counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a pale yellow-and-cream snake coils gracefully beneath a blooming pink peony, smaller buds and green leaves, with a few scattered petals, on a white background. Worked on 100% cotton Aida in 20 colours of floss.

A little stitcher's folklore: in many cultures the snake is a guardian of the home and a symbol of wisdom and renewal, and the peony is the flower of prosperity and a happy marriage. Stitchers say a snake among peonies brings good fortune and fresh beginnings.

Why this kit: if you love unusual, modern designs, this snake and peony is delicate, elegant and a real conversation piece. A comfortable project for confident beginners, and a great gift — especially for anyone born in the Year of the Snake.

Kit includes: 100% cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 20 colours of embroidery floss on an organizer, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the peonies first, then the snake and leaves.

Finished size: 32×22 cm (12.6×8.66 in). Modern botanical wall art and a distinctive gift.
