Stitch Velvet Feelings, a floral counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a lush bouquet of deep red, rose-pink and blush-cream roses with green leaves glows against a dramatic black background, like an old Dutch still life. Worked on 100% cotton Aida in 25 colours of floss.

A little stitcher's folklore: red roses have always spoken of love, and an old custom says roses stitched by a bride's hand bring a long and happy marriage. Stitchers say a bouquet of roses on the wall keeps love blooming in the home.

Why this kit: if you love romantic, classic florals, these velvety roses are rich and beautiful to stitch. A satisfying project for confident beginners, and a lovely gift for an anniversary or Valentine's Day.

Kit includes: 100% cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 25 colours of embroidery floss on an organizer, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the roses shade by shade, then the leaves and background.

Finished size: 18×28 cm (7.09×11.02 in). Romantic floral wall art and a heartfelt gift.
