Stitch Cool Pattern, a winter counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a large ornate snowflake medallion in soft ice-blue and warm taupe, with lacy arms and a glowing centre, on white canvas. Worked on 100% cotton Aida in 13 colours of floss, plus metallic thread.

A little stitcher's folklore: no two snowflakes are alike, and the first snow of winter was said to bring good luck to anyone who catches a flake. Stitchers say a snowflake stitched by hand keeps the home calm, clean and fresh through the cold months.

Why this kit: if you love elegant winter decor that works from December to February, this snowflake is calm and symmetrical — relaxing to stitch with only 13 colours. Ideal for beginners, and a lovely winter gift.

Kit includes: 100% cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 13 colours of embroidery floss on an organizer, decorative metallic thread, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Start from the centre and work outward along each arm.

Finished size: 19×19 cm (7.48×7.48 in). Elegant winter decor for the whole season.
