Stitch Premonition, a counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a sleek black cat with one blue and one amber eye sits calmly before a scattering of colourful tarot cards, as if it already knows your future. Worked on 100% cotton Aida in 29 colours of floss.

A little stitcher's folklore: in Britain, Ireland and Japan a black cat is a sign of good luck — sailors' wives kept one to bring their husbands home safely — and cats with odd eyes were thought to see both worlds. Stitchers say this black cat foresees only good fortune.

Why this kit: if you love cats and a touch of mystery, this design is perfect for Halloween or all year round. A satisfying project for confident beginners, and a great gift for black-cat owners and tarot fans.

Kit includes: 100% cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 29 colours of embroidery floss on an organizer, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the cat first, then the tarot cards.

Finished size: 19×28 cm (7.48×11.02 in). Mystical wall art and a gift for cat lovers.
