Stitch When the Sea Is a Dream, a coastal counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a whitewashed cottage with a slate roof sits on a grassy clifftop above turquoise waves and a rocky shore, with purple lavender and white daisies in the foreground under a painterly blue sky. Worked on 100% cotton Aida in 39 colours of floss.

A little stitcher's folklore: an old stitcher's belief says whatever you stitch, you invite — so a cottage by the sea is a wish for a peaceful home with a view. Stitchers say this seaside dream brings calm and fresh sea air into any room.

Why this kit: if you dream of the coast, this painterly scene is peaceful and full of colour. An absorbing project for confident beginners and experienced stitchers, and a lovely gift for sea lovers.

Kit includes: 100% cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 39 colours of embroidery floss on an organizer, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the cottage and cliff first, then the sea, sky and flowers.

Finished size: 23×40 cm (9.06×15.75 in). Tall coastal wall art.
