Christmas Advent Calendar Counted Cross-Stitch Kit by Abris Art AH-324

Stitch Christmas Advent, a Christmas counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — 24 numbered squares, one for each day of December, each with its own festive miniature: gingerbread, gifts, a red truck, a snowman, a tree, candy canes, mittens, a snowflake, Santa, a sleigh, a penguin, a teddy bear, a wreath and more, above a red "Merry Christmas" script. Worked on white Aida in 26 colours of floss.

A little stitcher's folklore: the advent calendar began in 19th-century Germany, when families counted the days to Christmas with chalk marks and candles. Stitchers say stitching one square a day fills December with calm and joy.

Why this kit: if you want a Christmas tradition of your own, this calendar is perfect — stitch one little motif each day and finish on Christmas Eve. A comfortable project for beginners, and a lovely family keepsake.

Kit includes: white Aida canvas (50×29 cm), a cross stitch needle, embroidery floss in 26 colours on an organizer, a counted cross stitch pattern, and instructions.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the pattern and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the grid and numbers, then one miniature each day.

Finished size: 29×50 cm (11.42×19.69 in). A festive Christmas keepsake.
