Stitch Faraway Mountains, a landscape counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a snow-capped mountain peak rises above tall pine trees, while a sparkling waterfall tumbles over mossy boulders past clusters of blue lupine flowers under a summer sky. Worked on white 14-count Aida in 42 colours of floss.

A little stitcher's folklore: mountains have always been places of strength and clarity, and running water was said to wash away worries and bring fresh luck. Stitchers say a mountain waterfall on the wall brings calm and renewal.

Why this kit: if you love the great outdoors, this landscape is fresh and full of detail — 42 shades of nature. An absorbing project for confident beginners and experienced stitchers, and a great gift for hikers and nature lovers.

Kit includes: white 14-count Aida canvas (33×43 cm), a cross stitch needle, 150 m of embroidery floss in 42 colours on an organizer, a counted cross stitch pattern, and instructions.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the pattern and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the mountain and pines first, then the waterfall, rocks and lupines.

Finished size: 23×33 cm (9.06×12.99 in). Peaceful landscape wall art.
