Bees on Allium Flowers Counted Cross-Stitch Kit by Abris Art AHM-049

Stitch Bees, a counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — two golden honey bees resting on a round allium flower head, drawn in fine black outline with just a touch of colour on white Aida. Elegant, graphic and quick to work in 12 colours of embroidery floss.

A little stitcher's folklore: bees were once treated as members of the family — in the old custom of "telling the bees," households shared their news with the hive so the bees would stay and keep bringing honey. A bee visiting your home is still said to bring good luck and good news. Stitch two, and the luck is doubled.

Why this kit: if you prefer clean, modern designs to busy scenes, this one's for you — mostly outline work, so it's fast, relaxing and very beginner-friendly. The hoop is included and doubles as a frame. A lovely gift for gardeners, beekeepers and anyone who loves a bee.

Kit includes: 100% cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 12 colours of embroidery floss on an organizer, a printed symbol chart, an embroidery hoop, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the two bees, then the fine outline of the allium flower.

Finished size: 15×15 cm (5.91×5.91 in). Fresh kitchen or garden-room decor, and a thoughtful gift for bee lovers.
