Under Sail Fox Sailboat Counted Cross-Stitch Kit by Abris Art AHM-050

Stitch Under Sail, a whimsical counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a little fox peeks out from a wooden sailboat trimmed with flowers, drifting past pastel balloons in mint and pink. Worked on 100% cotton Aida in 19 colours of embroidery floss, it's a gentle storybook scene for a child's room.

A little stitcher's folklore: sailors always named their boats for luck, and a fair wind was the best wish you could give anyone setting out. Needleworkers say a boat stitched under full sail brings a smooth voyage to whoever it's made for — which makes it a lovely wish for a brand-new little person.

Why this kit: if you're stitching for a nursery, this soft, happy design is just right — compact enough to finish in a few evenings, with the hoop included to double as a frame. It's easy for beginners and a heartfelt baby-shower gift.

Kit includes: 100% cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 19 colours of embroidery floss on an organizer, a printed symbol chart, an embroidery hoop, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the boat and fox, then the flowers and balloons.

Finished size: 15×15 cm (5.91×5.91 in). Sweet nursery decor and a thoughtful new-baby gift.
