And in the Basket Is a Cat Counted Cross-Stitch Kit by Abris Art AHM-055

Stitch And in the Basket Is a Cat, a counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a grey tabby curled up snugly inside a hanging orange planter, surrounded by trailing greenery and autumn-toned leaves. Worked on white Aida in 16 colours of embroidery floss, it's a cosy, witty design for plant people and cat people alike.

A little stitcher's folklore: an old saying goes that a house with a cat and a plant in the window is never unlucky. Cats have always chosen the warmest, most comfortable spot in the home — stitchers say wherever a cat curls up is where happiness settles. This one found the plant pot.

Why this kit: if you've ever found your cat in a flowerpot, you'll love stitching this one. It's compact, full of charm and quick to finish, and the hoop is included and doubles as a frame. Easy for beginners and a perfect gift for cat-and-plant lovers.

Kit includes: 100% cotton Aida canvas, a cross stitch needle, 16 colours of embroidery floss on an organizer, a printed symbol chart, an embroidery hoop, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the basket and cat, then the trailing plants and leaves.

Finished size: 15×15 cm (5.91×5.91 in). Cosy decor for a kitchen or plant corner, and a fun gift for cat lovers.
