Stitch Little Bunny, a counted cross-stitch kit by Abris Art — a little bunny in a bright red raincoat and yellow boots stands under a big yellow umbrella as rain drips down around it. Worked on 100% cotton Zweigart Aida in 15 colours of floss, with Preciosa beads for sparkling raindrops.

A little stitcher's folklore: rain is said to bring good luck and new growth — "April showers bring May flowers" — and rabbits stand for new beginnings. Stitchers say a bunny ready for the rain means you're ready for whatever the day brings.

Why this kit: if you want a quick, cheerful stitch, this sweet bunny is perfect — and the hoop is included and doubles as a frame. It's easy for beginners and lovely in a nursery or child's room.

Kit includes: 100% cotton Zweigart Aida canvas, an embroidery hoop, a cross stitch needle, 15 colours of cotton floss on an organizer card, Preciosa beads and a beading needle, a printed symbol chart, and instructions in 8 languages.

Counted cross stitch is worked by following the symbol chart and placing each cross on the Aida grid with the matching floss colour. Stitch the bunny and umbrella, then add the beaded raindrops.

Finished size: 17×17 cm (6.69×6.69 in). Sweet nursery decor and a cheerful gift.
