Bead Lucky Kaleidoscope, a mini bead embroidery kit by Abris Art — a glossy three-leaf shamrock glows at the heart of a lacy, symmetrical kaleidoscope pattern in emerald, lime and pearl beads on a dark background. Worked with over 1,770 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 9 colours.

A little stitcher's folklore: the shamrock is Ireland's emblem of luck, and its three leaves were said to stand for faith, hope and love. Stitchers say a shamrock beaded by hand carries its luck to whoever it's made for.

Why this kit: if you want a lucky charm with a touch of sparkle, this shamrock is quick to finish and full of rich green shades. Great for beginners and a thoughtful good-luck gift — for St. Patrick's Day, exams or a new job.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with the design, over 1,770 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 9 colours, a Japanese beading needle, a numbered key chart, and instructions. Frame not included.

Each bead is sewn onto its colour-marked spot on the printed canvas. Bead the shamrock first, then the lacy pattern around it.

Finished size: 15×15 cm (5.9×5.9 in). A small lucky charm for a desk or shelf.
