Bead Lace Balls, a Christmas bead embroidery kit by Abris Art — three delicate lace baubles in white, silver and soft lilac hang from beaded ribbons above a sparkling "Merry Christmas" script on a black background. Worked with over 2,030 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 4 colours.

A little stitcher's folklore: the first Christmas baubles were glass balls blown in Germany, hung to catch candlelight and, folk belief said, to reflect away bad luck. Stitchers say baubles beaded by hand fill the house with light and good wishes each Christmas.

Why this kit: if you love elegant, frosty Christmas decor, this monochrome design is chic and sparkles beautifully. With only 4 bead colours it's relaxing and ideal for beginners — and a lovely handmade Christmas gift.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with the design, over 2,030 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 4 colours, a Japanese beading needle, a numbered key chart, and instructions. Frame not included.

Each bead is sewn onto its colour-marked spot on the printed canvas. Bead the lace baubles first, then the ribbons and "Merry Christmas" lettering.

Finished size: 20×20 cm (7.87×7.87 in). Elegant Christmas decor you'll bring out every year.
