Bead Flickering Wings, a mid-sized bead embroidery kit by Abris Art — a dragonfly with glittering blue, orange and red wings hovers between pink peonies and aqua lotus blooms, framed by fine green stems on a charcoal background. Worked with over 3,340 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 20 colours.

A little stitcher's folklore: in Japan the dragonfly is a symbol of courage and victory, and folk belief says a dragonfly landing near you brings a message of change and light. Stitchers say a dragonfly on the wall helps you see the brighter side of life.

Why this kit: if you love nature and delicate symmetry, this dragonfly is elegant and full of colour. A satisfying project for beginners and experienced beaders, and a lovely gift for garden lovers.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with the design, over 3,340 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 20 colours, a Japanese beading needle, a numbered key chart, and instructions. Frame not included.

Each bead is sewn onto its colour-marked spot on the printed canvas. Bead the dragonfly first, then the flowers and fine stems.

Finished size: 20×20 cm (7.87×7.87 in). Elegant nature wall art and a thoughtful gift.
