Bead Thunder of Darkness, a mid-sized bead embroidery kit by Abris Art — a black stallion with a flowing mane and an ornate golden swirl harness gallops through a stormy grey sky. Worked with over 3,300 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 11 colours.

A little stitcher's folklore: the horse has long been a symbol of strength, freedom and success, and a horseshoe hung for luck is one of the oldest charms there is. Stitchers say a galloping horse carries good fortune swiftly to your door.

Why this kit: if you love horses and dramatic designs, this stallion is powerful and elegant, with rich gold detail. A satisfying project for beginners and experienced beaders, and a great gift for equestrians — especially anyone born in the Year of the Horse.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with the design, over 3,300 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 11 colours, a Japanese beading needle, a numbered key chart, and instructions. Frame not included.

Each bead is sewn onto its colour-marked spot on the printed canvas. Bead the horse's head and harness first, then the mane and stormy sky.

Finished size: 20×20 cm (7.87×7.87 in). Dramatic wall art for horse lovers.
