Bead Cookies for Santa, a Christmas bead embroidery kit by Abris Art — a red vintage lantern glows beside a glass jar of gingerbread cookies tied with a red plaid bow, surrounded by pine greenery, dried orange slices, berries, pinecones and cookies on the snow. Worked with over 4,160 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 19 colours.
A little stitcher's folklore: leaving cookies for Santa is a tradition of kindness — and gingerbread baked at Christmas was an old charm for sweetness and health through the year. Stitchers say this cosy scene fills the house with the scent of Christmas.
Why this kit: if you love cosy Christmas still lifes, this lantern and cookie jar is warm and nostalgic. A satisfying project for beginners and experienced beaders, and a lovely gift for bakers.
Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with the design, over 4,160 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 19 colours, Japanese beading needles, beading thread, and instructions with a printed colour key. Frame not included.
Each bead is sewn onto its colour-marked spot on the printed canvas. Bead the lantern and cookie jar first, then the greenery, oranges and cookies.
Finished size: 20×20 cm (7.87×7.87 in). Cosy Christmas kitchen decor.
