Stitch Strawberries, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a little sprig of bright red strawberries with white flowers and green leaves, in simple bold blocks of colour on white 14-count Aida. A tiny first project for children and beginners.

A little stitcher's folklore: an old country saying goes that if you share a strawberry with a friend, you'll stay friends for ever.

Why this kit: a perfect first cross stitch: small, only 11 colours and large 14-count squares that are easy to see and count.

Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Madeira stranded cotton threads in 11 colours, a needle, a symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the red strawberries, then the green leaves, and finish with the white flowers using the symbol chart.

Finished size: 7×9 cm (2.8×3.5 in). A sweet mini picture for a card or small frame, and a great first kit for young stitchers.
