Stitch Red Car, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a cheerful little red car seen from the front, with round headlights, a shiny grille and black wheels, worked in bold, simple blocks of colour on 14-count Aida. A tiny first project for children and beginners.

A little stitcher's folklore: children used to say that spotting a red car on the way to school means a lucky day ahead.

Why this kit: a perfect first cross stitch: small, only 9 colours and big 14-count squares that are easy to see and count.

Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Madeira stranded cotton threads in 9 colours, a needle, a symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Stitch the red body first, then the windscreen and lights, and finish with the grey grille and wheels using the symbol chart.

Finished size: 6.5×5.5 cm (2.6×2.2 in). A sweet mini picture for a card or small frame, and a great first kit for young stitchers.
