Stitch Grapes, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a bunch of juicy purple grapes hanging from a curly vine with green leaves, worked in bold, simple blocks of colour on 14-count Aida. A tiny first project for children and beginners.

A little stitcher's folklore: in wine country, the first bunch of grapes was hung by the door for a good harvest.

Why this kit: a perfect first cross stitch: small, only 10 colours and big 14-count squares that are easy to see and count.

Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Madeira stranded cotton threads in 10 colours, a needle, a symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Stitch the purple grapes first, then the green leaves, and finish with the curly brown vine using the symbol chart.

Finished size: 7.5×8.5 cm (3×3.3 in). A sweet mini picture for a card or small frame, and a great first kit for young stitchers.
