Stitch Baby Elephant, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a sweet grey baby elephant sitting up with big ears and a little tuft of hair on top, worked in bold, simple blocks of colour on 14-count Aida. A tiny first project for children and beginners.

A little stitcher's folklore: elephants are said never to forget, so an elephant in a child's room was thought to help them remember their lessons.

Why this kit: a perfect first cross stitch: small, only 3 colours and big 14-count squares that are easy to see and count.

Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), stranded cotton threads in 3 colours, a needle, a symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Stitch the grey body first, then the lighter ears and feet, and finish with the eyes and outline using the symbol chart.

Finished size: 8.5×10 cm (3.3×3.9 in). A sweet mini picture for a card or small frame, and a great first kit for young stitchers.
