A little stitcher's folklore: a cockerel was thought to chase away bad luck each morning with its crow.

Why this kit: a perfect first cross stitch: small, only 6 colours and big 14-count squares that are easy to see and count.

Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), stranded cotton threads in 6 colours, a needle, a symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Stitch the red body and comb first, then the blue tail, and finish with the yellow beak and feet using the symbol chart.

Finished size: 8×9 cm (3.1×3.5 in). A sweet mini picture for a card or small frame, and a great first kit for young stitchers.
