Stitch Christmas Pigs, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — two little pigs wrapped up for winter, one in a red coat and bobble hat carrying a present, the other in a green jacket and furry hat, pulling a sledge loaded with gifts. Full of cosy knitwear and festive cheer.

A little stitcher's folklore: in parts of Europe a pig is a symbol of luck at New Year, and marzipan pigs are given as gifts. Two pigs bringing presents, stitchers say, is double the luck.

Why this kit: a fun, cosy Christmas design that makes everyone smile — great for a festive corner or a gift for pig lovers.

Kit includes: 16-count Zweigart Star Aida (100% cotton), Anchor 100% cotton threads in 52 colours, a needle, a symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the pigs' faces, then their coats, hats and scarves, and finish with the sledge and presents using the symbol chart.

Finished size: 29×20.5 cm (11.4×8.1 in). A cheerful Christmas picture to frame and a fun festive gift.
