Stitch Good Night, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a baby elephant and a little giraffe snuggle up fast asleep on a silver crescent moon, resting on pink clouds among golden stars, with 'Good Night' stitched above in gold.

A little stitcher's folklore: it's said that children who say good night to the moon will have sweet dreams — and these two clearly didn't forget.

Why this kit: a gentle bedtime picture for a nursery, quick to stitch with only 22 colours and a lovely baby shower or christening gift.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Anchor 100% cotton threads in 22 colours, a needle, a symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Stitch the sleeping animals first, then the moon and clouds, and finish with the stars and lettering using the symbol chart.

Finished size: 15×16 cm (5.9×6.3 in). A sweet bedtime picture for the nursery and a lovely gift for new parents.
