A little stitcher's folklore: country folk said that when the birds sing among the apple blossom, the spring frosts are over for good.

Why this kit: a small, pretty spring design rated easy (2 out of 5), ideal for a quick project or a first bird picture.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 30 colours, a needle, a black-and-white symbol chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Stitch the bird first, then the pink blossom, and finish with the leaves and backstitch details using the chart.
