A little stitcher's folklore: the blue tit is one of the first birds to sing in spring, and seeing one on blossom was said to mean happy news was coming.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 30 colours, a needle, a black-and-white symbol chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Stitch the blue and yellow feathers first, then the blossom, and finish with the leaves and fine backstitch using the chart.
