Stitch Santa's Shop, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a gingerbread-style shop with a snow-covered roof, candy-cane posts, glowing windows and a wreath on the door, with snowmen, a little sleigh and a North Pole signpost outside.

A little stitcher's folklore: children say that if you look very closely at Santa's shop windows on Christmas Eve, you can see the elves wrapping the last presents.

Why this kit: a magical Christmas shop front with 42 colours at an intermediate level.

Kit includes: 16-count antique white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 42 colours, 2 needles, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the shop sign and door, then the windows and roof, and finish with the snowmen, sleigh and trees using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 25×25 cm (9.8×9.8 in). A festive picture to bring out every December and a lovely Christmas gift.

I love this cross stitch picture. I've already started on it and it is very pretty. It's a little more complicated than the ones I've made before, but I love it, I wish they had put the thread on individual cards.
