Stitch Winter Love, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a rosy-cheeked gnome couple in cosy pink and blue knitted hats cuddle up behind a snowy sign spelling “Love”, with little hearts floating all around.

A little stitcher's folklore: Nordic folk said that gnomes who share a hat of snow share a lifetime of good luck.

Why this kit: a sweet, easy design with 36 colours — perfect for Valentine's Day and winter.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 36 colours, 2 needles, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the gnomes' faces and beards, then the knitted hats and jumpers, and finish with the Love sign and hearts using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 25×25 cm (9.8×9.8 in). A sweet Valentine's decoration and a lovely gift for a partner or newlyweds.
