Stitch Etude with Strawberries, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — ripe strawberries tumble among fresh green leaves along a long panel, with a delicate dragonfly resting at one side and a tiny snail tucked into the leaves. Based on artwork by Elena Bazanova.

A little stitcher's folklore: a dragonfly over the strawberry bed was once said to promise a sunny week ahead. Gardeners were less pleased about the snail.

Why this kit: a fresh summer still life with a charming long shape — perfect for a kitchen and a lovely companion to the other fruit panels in the series.

Kit includes: 18-count Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Anchor 100% cotton threads in 36 colours, a needle, a symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Stitch the strawberries first, then the leaves, and finish with the dragonfly, snail and fine details, working from one end of the panel to the other.

Finished size: 49.5×18.5 cm (19.5×7.3 in). A summery panel for the kitchen and a charming gift for garden lovers.
