Stitch Bouquet of Pink Roses, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a wide, airy spray of blush and rose-pink garden roses and buds tumbles among fresh green leaves, painted in a soft watercolour style. Based on artwork by Elena Bazanova.

A little stitcher's folklore: pink roses were given as a quiet thank-you in Victorian times — a whole bouquet meant gratitude beyond words.

Why this kit: a light, elegant floral in a wide format with 47 colours, stitched on fine 18-count Aida for delicate detail.

Kit includes: 18-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Anchor 100% cotton threads in 47 colours, a needle, a symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the deepest pink roses, then the pale blush blooms and buds, and finish with the leaves using the chart.

Finished size: 43.5×28 cm (17.1×11 in). An elegant floral for above a bed or sofa and a lovely gift.
