Stitch The Boxer, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a boxer puppy with a velvety brown coat and a dark wrinkled face sits proudly with a red slipper in his mouth, clearly very pleased with his prize. Lifelike shading brings out every fold of his face and paws.

A little stitcher's folklore: dog owners say that a puppy who steals a slipper has chosen you as his person for life. Stitchers say this one is only borrowing it, of course.

Why this kit: a funny, lifelike dog portrait for boxer owners and anyone who has ever lost a slipper to a puppy. It's a compact piece that makes a great gift for dog lovers.

Kit includes: 18-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Anchor 100% cotton threads in 32 colours, a needle, a symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the eyes and dark muzzle, then build up the brown coat from shadow to highlight, and finish with the red slipper and the soft shadow beneath him.

Finished size: 18×17.5 cm (7.1×6.9 in). A cheerful dog portrait for the hallway or den and a perfect gift for dog lovers.

This is so cute I had to have it, I've enjoyed everything I've gotten from this shop. It comes quick and in great shape with everything it says it will. I recommend them.
